TCUMposter300dpi_SmallerJoin us for a special showing of They Call Us Monsters, a documentary film that follows three boys facing extreme prison sentences.

The screening will be followed by a discussion of Louisiana’s practice of sentencing children to die in prison – even though the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled it unconstitutional in all but the rarest cases. Attendees will learn how they can join in the fight to end juvenile life without parole in the upcoming legislative session.

The screening is hosted by the Louisiana Youth Justice Coalition, a network of over 70 organizations statewide working to create a juvenile justice system that is safe, smart, cost-effective, and fair.

Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the door or online.  Please visit our Facebook event page for more information.
